Helen is a commercially astute, passionate, people and business leader, with extensive experience growing businesses across the Food and Retail sectors. Helen currently leads a 14,000 strong team to operate ~300 KFC restaurants across Australia from Busselton to Brisbane and everywhere in between! KFC serves affordable comfort food to millions of customers each week, and is a first job opportunity to thousands of young Australians each year. Around a third of our store-based trainees go on to be managers at KFC. Prior to joining Collins Foods, Helen was CEO of Oporto, leading 180 restaurants across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, Helen was General Manager – Convenience Development for Ampol (formerly Caltex Australia), creating the successful Foodary retail format. Helen brings over 15 years’ experience in retail and consumer goods, commencing her career in investment banking with JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank before transitioning to senior leadership roles at Woolworths Group.
