St Margaret’s Mysteries - Nurses of the Vietnam War

At a recent Book Club meeting, my group read Kristin Hannah’s “The Women”. That sent me after Annabelle Brayley’s (‘72) “Our Vietnam Nurses”.

In "Our Vietnam Nurses", Annabelle tells us that there were 353 Australian nurses who served in Vietnam.

The mystery for this term is – were any of those 353 nurses Old Girls of St Margaret’s? If you know of an Old Girl who served in Vietnam, please let me know – email msurtees@stmargarets.qld.edu.au or phone (07) 3862 0816.

The Archive Centre is open Monday and Tuesday and a half day on a Wednesday. If I am not available, you are able to leave a voicemail message, and I will respond as soon as I am able.
