2023 Recipient of the Old Girls’ Prize, Hadassah Todd (’23)

Congratulations to Hadassah Todd, the 2023 Old Girls’ Prize winner.

Congratulations to Hadassah Todd, the 2023 Old Girls’ Prize winner. This prize is awarded at each year’s Speech Night and Prize Giving Ceremony to the senior girl who is emblematic of the graduating cohort’s spirit, as well as having demonstrated a commitment to the school through leadership and achievement.

As Boarder Captain in her final year at St Margaret’s, Hadassah was admired and respected by both her peers and staff for her unwavering positivity and the pure joy she brought to both the Boarding House and the wider school community. Hadassah worked alongside other Boarder Captain Lucy Edwards to create a truly unified Boarding House, building cross-cohort connections and fostering the sisterhood that comes from being a St Margaret’s student.

While completing Year 12, Hadassah also successfully completed a Certificate II in Sports Coaching through TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport Program, fulfilling her passion for sport. She now holds this nationally recognised qualification in coaching Rugby 7s, a sport that is very close to Hadassah’s heart.

On top of this fantastic accomplishment, Hadassah received an early offer to study Urban Planning at Griffith University but has accepted an offer from Queensland University of Technology to study a Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours) (Urban and Regional Planning).

Hadassah is beyond grateful for the sporting and leadership opportunities  St Margaret’s gave her, as well as for the boarding family she made along the way.
