Ms McQuattie holds a Master of Leadership from Monash University and a Bachelor of Education from the Queensland University of Technology.
Since commencing her teaching career in West London, followed by five years teaching at the Australian International School in Singapore, Ms McQuattie's leadership roles at John Paul College have included Primary Curriculum Leader, Dean of Pedagogy, Head of Primary School, and most recently Deputy Principal. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed to the College's strategic plan, led significant academic strengthening initiatives, and fostered a culture of mutual respect and inclusion across a diverse community.
Ms McQuattie’s educational philosophy is underpinned by the belief that every student has the ability to achieve individual success and excellence within a culture of high standards and high expectations. She brings a strategic, future-focused approach to leadership and is passionate about nurturing teachers at every stage of their careers, from early career teachers entering the profession through to aspiring leaders stepping into new challenges. As a student-centred leader, she places collective efficacy at the heart of her leadership, fostering a culture where teachers collaborate, share practice, and grow together in pursuit of excellence.
Ms McQuattie is honoured to be joining the St Margaret's community and looks forward to contributing to the school's continued excellence and building on its rich legacy while embracing innovation and future-focused learning in line with the school’s Strategic Plan 2026 to 2030.
