Keri is recognised for her leadership in business and fashion.
The Keri Craig Label was one of the first high-profile Queensland fashion brands and paved the way for future generations of Queensland designers on a national stage. Her work has been featured across Australian Business and Industry Magazines, as well as Vogue, Vogue Living, Mode, Mode for Brides, Woman’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, New Idea, Cleo, Sheila, Cosmopolitan, Bride to Be, Queensland Brides and Australian Bride.
Across her career, Keri has won 55 fashion awards, and was the inaugural winner of the Retailers Association of Queensland (R.A.Q) ‘Supreme Award’ in 1981, followed by winning the ‘Supreme Award’ again in 1982 and 1986. Keri received an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for service to the clothing manufacturing sector, to business and to the community.
The Keri Craig Emporium continues to be a landmark destination in the famous Brisbane Arcade. St Margaret’s congratulates Keri for her enduring achievements.
