The Old Girls’ Association, as we know, is a highly connected group of alumnae linked to their shared connection as St Margaret’s girls. We are fortunate enough to have many amazing Old Girls who reconnect with the school in various ways when their time as a student has come to an end, particularly through the St Margaret’s Plus Mentoring Program.
The St Margaret’s Plus Mentoring Program has been running for many years now, and has gone from strength-to-strength each year. As more students become involved, this necessitates the involvement of many more Old Girls who volunteer to mentor current Year 12 students.
Each cohort, and indeed each student, is different from the next; hence, the pool of mentors needed is immense and ever evolving. I am currently seeking mentors who have studied/work in advanced business; dentistry and commerce, but welcome any and all Old Girls from other fields to apply to be a mentor, too.
If you are interested in acting as a mentor, or would like further information on the program, please contact Lizzie Fowler (’19), Relationships and Mentoring Manager, at LFowler002@stmargarets.qld.edu.au.
