As St Margaret’s girls, we know that we stand on the shoulders of those that have come before us.
As we celebrate our past and the incredible legacy of 130 years of educating girls, we also look to the future and imagine the possibilities it can bring.
Each generation of St Margaret’s students has benefited from the facilities and educational opportunities that have been supported by those who came before them.
By donating on Giving Day, you are building the next chapter in this legacy. Together, we can ensure that every girl who follows in our footsteps continues to benefit from an extraordinary education in a community that empowers her to chase her dreams and realise her potential.
Your past kindness and generosity have played such an important role in our current chapter.
You made waves when we asked for your support for the sports precinct, and we’ve reached new heights in the gym. You’ve planted trees under which you will never sit… but students do! You’ve created maker spaces and learning places for the girls in shoelaces. You’ve restored the heart of St Margaret’s and brought Community House back to life.
This Giving Day, we ask for your kindness and generosity once again to help St Margaret’s thrive for the next 130 years. Your gift is her future.
On Wednesday 28 May, your tax-deductible donation to St Margaret’s Foundation Building Fund will support the realisation of our new masterplan OR alternatively, a donation to the Panama Fund will help provide the gift of education through financial needs-based bursaries.
Your donation, if received prior to or during our Giving Day, will be DOUBLED by our generous matching donors. Your $50 donation becomes $100, $150 becomes $300, and $500 becomes $1,000!
If you would like to find out more about Giving Day or becoming a Matching Donor, please contact Lara Pickering, Director of Philanthropy and Stakeholder Engagement on (07) 3862 0884 or email foundation@stmargarets.qld.edu.au.
