Giving Day 2026 – The World is Her Stage

As an Old Girl, you know better than anyone the lifelong impact of a St Margaret’s education, the confidence it instils, the friendships it shapes, and the doors it opens

For generations, the arts have played a vital role in that journey. Many of you will have fond memories of the school musicals orchestrated by Miss Rees and Miss Raymond, or more recently having your love of music nurtured through a wonderful group of teachers ably led by Head of Performance, Mr King.

While many of your fellow Old Girls have pursued a career in the arts, they are not only for those who dream of the spotlight; they are for every girl learning to collaborate, communicate, problem‑solve, innovate and lead.

These are skills that stay with them long after they leave the school gates, whether their future stage is a boardroom, a hospital, a laboratory, a studio or a concert hall.

This Giving Day, on Wednesday 27 May, we invite you to help create those same opportunities for today’s St Margaret’s girls through your tax-deductible donation to the Building Fund or the Panama Fund: https://charidy.com/everygirl

Help create a new home for igniting passion, courage and connection

The St Margaret’s Foundation Building Fund is proudly supporting the creation of the new performing Arts Precinct, a purpose‑built space designed to nurture creativity and confidence for generations to come. This precinct will give students the room to explore their talents, discover their voices and grow through the transformative power of the arts.

We are incredibly close to bringing this vision to life but we need your help to take the final steps.

Your donation to the Building Fund will directly support this project, ensuring that every girl has access to the rich learning experiences that come from drama, music and performance.

Open doors through the Panama Fund

You may also choose to support the Panama Fund, which provides needs-based bursaries for girls who would not otherwise have access to a St Margaret’s education. For many families, this support is life‑changing. Your generosity can open doors, shape futures and ensure that more girls can experience the opportunities, community and confidence that define St Margaret’s.

Double Your Impact on Giving Day

Thanks to our generous Matching Donors, every gift received on or before Giving Day will be doubled. Your $50 becomes $100. Your $150 becomes $300. Your $500 becomes $1,000.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps a girl step boldly into her future: https://charidy.com/everygirl

The world is her stage, and with your support this Giving Day, you are helping the next generation of St Margaret’s girls step onto it with confidence, courage and possibility.

Thank you for continuing to be part of the St Margaret’s story and for supporting the futures of the girls who follow in your footsteps.
