Reunion Weekend 2026 Recap

Under clear blue skies and warm sunshine, alumnae gathered to reconnect with friends, revisit treasured memories, and celebrate milestone reunions, Old Girls’ Day, and our very special VIP 60+ Luncheon on Sunday.

A highlight of the weekend was the opportunity for Old Girls to see the school as it is today. More than 180 ladies participated in guided campus tours led by current Year 11 and 12 students, giving generations of alumnae the chance to explore new facilities, revisit familiar spaces, and hear firsthand about contemporary student life and how the school has evolved while remaining true to its traditions and values.

Saturday's celebrations began with the 60 Year Milestone Reunion Lunch in Toorak. From 2pm, members of all other milestone reunion groups joined campus tours led by our current students before heading to their reunion venues, where they enjoyed music from their school years, delicious food, and wonderful photo displays curated by School Archivist, Mary Surtees.

Sunday commenced with the much-loved Old Girls’ Day Chapel Service and Morning Tea, bringing together alumnae of all ages to celebrate their enduring connection with the school. Following this, the festivities concluded with the annual VIP 60+ Luncheon which celebrated our cherished senior Old Girls with a special acknowledgment of the 75th anniversary cohort, and welcomed the newest members of the group, the Class of 1965. Surrounded by friends old and new, attendees reminisced, reconnected and reflected on generations of shared experiences.

Thank you to the team of volunteers and our reunion coordinators who, as always, do a fabulous job reconnecting with their cohorts and making this weekend so special. We would also like to thank every Old Girl who generously donated to St Margaret’s Foundation Building Fund or Panama (Bursary) Fund with the purchase of their ticket, collectively raising over $3,500. Thank you for supporting the school.

Next year, we will host milestone reunions for the Classes of 2017, 2007, 1997, 1987, 1977 and 1967. As always, our VIP 60+ Luncheon will take place on the Sunday of Reunion Weekend. Dates for next year have yet to be announced, but please keep an eye out for news about our 2027 Reunion Weekend.
