As you are aware, last year we began the Mentoring Program here at St Margaret's which gives our current students the opportunity to connect and learn from our Old Girls in disciplines they are interested in. Currently, we have 45 year 12 students who are in the program, most of whom have been matched, however there are still a few I am to find the perfect fit for.
As a result, I am in search of mentors in some specific fields; Youth/Social Work, Education, Business/Commerce and Agriculture.
Soon, we will be looking to our Year 11 students for expressions of interest and are keen to continue expanding this program and the impact it has.
Should you know of any Old Girl working in these areas and would be interested in assisting us, it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward me their name, and if you have them, contact details. If you are interested in nominating as a mentor or would like further information on the program, please contact me via email at Mcoomer@stmargarets.qld.edu.au.
