As you are aware, last year we began the Mentoring Program here at St Margaret's which gives our current students the opportunity to connect and learn from our Old Girls in disciplines they are interested in. Currently, we are in the throes of matching our current Year 11 students with mentors with the hope that they will be able to learn from one of the greatest teachers—personal experience.
As a result, I am in search of mentors in some specific fields: Arts, Detective/Investigative work, Dentistry, Biomedical Research/Engineering and Psychology and Social Work.
Should you know of any Old Girl working in these areas, or any who would be interested, it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward me their name, and if you have them, contact details. If you are interested in nominating as a mentor or would like further information on the program, please contact me via email at Mcoomer@stmargarets.qld.edu.au.
