For our milestone cohorts and our VIPs, as well as attendees of the Old Girls’ Day Chapel Service, we can’t wait to see you on campus and reconnecting with your cohorts.
To get you excited, here are some reflections from the 2025 Reunion Coordinators:
“What a wonderful experience it was to share our 60 Year reunion together. Thank you to all the excited, happy and delightful Old Girls in our cohort who really enjoyed being with school friends once again. A very special thank you to the boarders who made a considerable effort to travel back to a very different campus from the one in which we were educated. The spontaneous laughter, animated conversations, surprised faces upon seeing friends and sheer delight made our reunion a special time and added more memories for the future.
Remember to consider returning next year with friends for the VIP reunion! My thanks to Margaret Paull for her valuable contribution in coordinating the event.”
– Suzette Purdy (‘65)
“Personally, for me this reunion was the most enjoyable to date, but maybe as we are getting older it is fresher in my mind!
It was the first time in many years I was able to walk down memory lane and have a look at the growth of the school, all the wonderful facilities available now to present and future students, and reminisce with fellow boarders about what buildings had gone, where things had been in our day etc. I heard one Old Girl telling our tour guides that in our day, ’that was where you sun baked your legs without getting caught on the weekend’. It was an added bonus to see inside part of Community House (my first time) and to be taken back to another era.
In summary, it was a great gathering of our ’extended family’ members, lots of ‘do you remember ….’, some sad moments when we learnt of the passing of some of our cohort, personal family tragedies old and new, but mostly lots of reminiscing about the past and enjoying the company of those present at our special reunion celebration, and looking forward to the next one already.”
– Anna Keehn (‘75)
“Thank you very much for such a happy reunion afternoon on Saturday. It was so well organised, and the catering, and picture board were especially nice. I think everyone had a great time, and we will remember the afternoon.”
– Catherine Yelland (’75)
“A massive thank you to the school for hosting a truly wonderful reunion. I cannot complement the school enough for the format of the event and for the effort to host reunions and to stay connected to the alumni. The location is spectacular, and shone despite the rain – I’m sure we didn’t appreciate the view nearly enough as school girls!”
– Emma Rawlings (‘95)
“It was an absolutely cracking afternoon and so well organised – great food, very attentive staff and a flawless wet weather plan. We were really amazed at the turn-out and most girls partied on at the Brekky Creek, so such a great event.”
– Jane Kovac (‘95)
“It was hard to believe 30 years had passed since we were the Class of 1995. The unseasonal thunderstorm that heralded the start of our reunion gave way to a wonderful afternoon of enjoying the friendships that still connect us – catching up, laughter, sharing unforgettable memories and celebrating the journeys since our school days.”
